The Columbia County Young Republicans (CCYR) is a grassroots political organization dedicated to the advancement of conservative Republican principles and policies. CCYR strives to engage young people in the political process by providing opportunities for them to participate in political campaigns and Republican Party politics. CCYR is committed to educating its members about grassroots campaign techniques, the mechanics of Republican Party politics and the foundations of conservative governing philosophies. CCYR ultimately hopes to inspire its members to become active participants in political and government processes by assisting in the selection of candidates, running for office themselves and proposing or advocating conservative policies and legislation.
